The Omada Story

Omada was founded in 2019 by Katie Marriott and Jessyca Shuttleworth with a simple but powerful belief: recruiting should be about more than filling jobs – it should be about building lasting relationships.

Together, they set out to create a firm grounded in trust, collaboration, and curiosity. From those roots, Omada has grown into what it is today: a women-owned, boutique headhunting firm dedicated to connecting companies with exceptional leadership talent.

The Omada Search recruiting team laughing together - they will find you the perfect match.

While Jessyca has since moved on from the business, her role as co-founder remains an important part of our story. Today, Katie continues to lead Omada with the same commitment to integrity, high performance, and human-first recruiting that sparked its beginning.

“Omada” is the Greek word for team. But what really matters is the right team. We’re matchmakers at heart – connecting the right people to the right jobs, and the right companies to the right talent. Because strong teams don’t happen by chance, they happen by fit. Founded and run by women, powered by working moms, we know how to spot great teams – because we are one.

And that is why Omada exists today – to help you build and grow your team to ensure your company’s longevity and success!

Core Value Statement:

We bring authenticity to every interaction, unwavering integrity, and commitment to growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

How nice of you to ask! We love working with Hiring Managers who are eager to fill a position on their team and wonder what they can do to make the process as efficient as possible. Here are a few things that make our job a whole lot easier:

Provide as much upfront information as possible. We use what you share to sell the opportunity to a passive audience and determine fit. Things like work environment, perks and benefits, industry nuisances, company culture, software and technology, business objectives and advancement opportunities can all be helpful when fielding questions from potential candidates.

Collaborate with us. We thrive off feedback and pride ourselves in being able to pivot and immediately implement it quickly. If you like a profile, tell us why. If you don’t, tell us why not. If there is a way to communicate with you better, share that with us. Our goal is to make your job easier and our relationship as efficient as possible.

Communicate in a timely manner. In business, time kills deal and that’s true in today’s job market. 69% of candidates say that the interview process and timeliness have a significant impact on job decisions.

We will find the right candidate for the job by any means necessary! Kidding…but not really.

We use several tools to find the right candidate, but LinkedIn is hands down what we use the most. We’ve found that it’s the best tool to identify top talent and communicate with passive candidates. Sure, we have a deep network of qualified individuals that we tap into and ask for referrals from, but the candidate market changes quickly. And sure, we use certain job boards, but headhunting has proven to give our clients the best value – being able to engage and attract candidates that they wouldn’t be able to get in front of on their own. We also use a variety of technology and tools to get in touch with people, research companies and competitors, and provide top-notch customer service.

Has never happened, won’t ever happen. Go ahead, try us…

We are in the people business and for a variety of reasons, sometimes things don’t work out. At Omada, we are committed to the long-term success of your organization and the long-term happiness of our candidates. That’s why all of our search services include a guarantee, which means that we will attempt to find a replacement for the position at no additional charge. The length and terms of the guarantee are determined and documented when the our agreement is put in place.
